This book collects a lot of data and historical photos, and edit them according to time line. History reappear in this book. This book is different from another book (The General History of Chongqing) I read, this one is more of narratives than summarizing or analysis. It is a more objective book, and is a supplement to my understanding.

The shortage of this book is that it does not have much information before 1978, I read some useful information, but not much. But it still is helpful because it just shows fact by data and pictures.
