HKG/ Educational Drama “The Hong Kong Plague of 1894”
This is an educational drama at the Museum, naming “The Hong Kong Plague of 1894”. It was an extraordinary experience when they get to participate in an innovative educational drama staged in the very first laboratory constructed to control the Plague more than a century ago. The drama has its plot based on the history, but also moved to different locations in the heritage building as the story unfold. The Hong Kong Museum of Medical Sciences was part of an educational program developed by Hong Kong Drama/ Theater and Education Forum. It was a specially designed drama to stimulate the 400 audience, which comprised secondary student, teachers and public, to reflect on human and disease from different perspectives.
