SAIGON (1954-1960)/ SEADAG PAPERS: Between Wars and Peace: A Profile of Migrants to Saigon
Published under a series of papers and reports by SEADAG, The Asia Society, Between War and Peace: A Profile of Migrants to Saigon is another attempt to identify the social issues in Southeast Asia, specifically South Vietnam. Written by Allan Goodman and Lawrence Franks, the report aims to identify the migration pattern to Saigon in the 1960s-70s. However, the analysis and studies of the report on migration before 1960s are also valuable in understanding the great transmigration from the North to the South, which is the focus of our study.
