WARO KISHI: 岸和郎の建築 

 

Kishi, Warō. WARO KISHI: Kishi Warō No Kenchiku. Tōkyō-to Minato-ku: Tōtōshuppan, 2016.
This book described the architectural journey of Waro Kishi. His works are influenced by the architecture in modernism period, and has spent his university years from 1969 to 1978 in Kyoto. Kyoto, as he described, is a city where there was very little that a modern architect could achieve. He took his lifetime to root his identity as an architect in this city, with his works situated at the center district of Kyoto, most of his works resemble the restrictions and traditional based idea of Kyoto.
