Macau/Comparision between Development of Macau and Hengqin

It is known that Macau has spend huge amount of money on Hengqin Project. But these satellite images suggest that Macau has barely changed while Hengqin is rapidly growing. It seems that Macau has not gained any direct interests from Hengqin Project, but since Macau has already well-developed before Hengqin Project, it is not enough to just measure the benefit of Hengqin New Area from the change of Macau’s city frame. These images help to prevent us from considering Hengqin Project’s advantages on surface (for example, compared to industrializing Macau, it is more possible to connect Macau with Hengqin and ‘borrow’ its strengths).
