Historical Document # 1 [Background – Geographic] Notice on Issuing the Outline of the “11th Five-Year Plan” for National Economic and Social Development of Tianjin Binhai New Area
This historical document shows a critical force from the government’s police that is the very indispensable factors that determines the final site selection of the project when we are analyzing its rationale of birth from a geological point of view.
China is now developing Tianjin as an international transport and logistic center in northern China attracting investment from foreign countries. It could be seen as another counterpart versus Shanghai as the southern hub in charge of similar duty.
This kind of identity of an international city, or to say a global city, for Tianjin is pressed in the “notice on Issuing the Outline of the “11th Five-Year Plan” for National Economic and Social Development of Tianjin Binhai New Area (TBNA)” posted by the Tianjin Municipal People’s Government. And the leading area for the achieving the vision in the 11th Five-Year Plan is designated to the Tianjin Binhai New Area, where industries of innovative and high technologies already has been developing there over years.
